Super Duo Earrings

Class fee is $10.00

Maximum Class Size: 8 (additional class dates can easily be added. Please call or come into the shop for reservations. Samples are available for you to see)

Materials: The kit will include beads, beading needles, ear wires or posts, and Fireline beading thread.

Materials to bring: Scissors and Eyeglasses, if needed.

Prerequisite: No experience necessary, just a happy smile.

Students will learn to bead with the new 2-hole beads known as “Super Duos.” They will also learn to make a loop and attach the ear wires. A choice of earring posts or ear wires will be available.  These earring will coordinate with the Super Duo bracelet class held on May 3.

This class is appropriate for an experience knitter or a beginner that wants to have a one of a kind art piece. Impress your friends, “I made it”  Class is 3 sessions at a cost of $50.00 for all three sessions plus yarn.Must know basic knit stitch.

Class will meet Sat. May 30th at 2:00pm and follow-up classes will be arranged. Come see several samples at the store. Call for reservation in class.

Kumihimo Class Sunday May 17th. 1-4pm

kumihimo bracelet  Kumihimo is a wonderful Japanese braiding technique. It is made with a template loom and Anne can show you how. She has a very small class planned so you will get lots of attention. It is fun to do and great for a beginner. Call us for details and to reserve a place Or stop by to see the samples.  $30.00 includes class fee and beads. Loom and bobbins are available at Imagine! for about  $7.50.

Wire Work plus Beads, Join our Class

FullSizeRender Wire work and beads make up these delicate designs. Beginners are welcome. Dayle is offering this class in which you will learn basic wire work and stringing techniques.  The class meets on Saturday May 9th from 2-4. Cost is 20.00 plus materials ( approximately $7.00-$10.00). Call to reserve your place or stop by to see samples.

You can do it, learn a new technique Sunday May 17th 1-3

Scalloped hat Learn how to make a fancy hat. This one is so cute with its scalloped edge. In this brand new class you will learn how to make a lacey edge and then pick up stitches. You will also perfect the front and back increase. This is a two part class starting May 17th. from 1-3. Class fee is 20.00 for each two-hour session.  Lorena will teach in the laid-back wicker world of my office. Call to reserve a place. Must have basic knitting skills, we’d love to see you.

The photograph is a representation of the bracelet that will be made in class.  There will be two color choices as shown above – purple iris or copper iris matte.

This is a great class to learn beading with the new 2-hole beads.  The kit includes all beads, beading thread, needles and clasp.  Instructions for the bracelet are very thorough with lots of graphics to help the student.

Bemus is in Bloom Season Opener

On Friday May 1st. through Sunday May3rd, Bemus will come to life with our annual kick-off event, Bemus is in Bloom. We will have our Petting Zoo and other activities. Get a peek at what’s new in the more than one dozen stores in the village. Each shop is distinctive and the passionate owners have been gathering goodies from all over the country to bring to Bemus. While Skillman’s opened the last weekend in February and GG My Love and Imagine! opened in April, the rest of the shops will start to come alive in May and June. Follow the yellow, blue and green balloons to find the stores that are anxious to welcome you in May.
